We are extremely lucky to be located in the university town of Freiburg, undoubtedly one of Germany' s most attractive cities.

Freiburg is small enough to allow you to feel "at home" from your first day here, yet at the same time big enough to be international, exciting and vibrant.

Freiburg has a population of around 200,000, of which 25,000 are university and college students, and a history that goes back some 900 years. The old city centre still bears witness to this. The location at the foot of the Black Forest with France and Switzerland nearby makes Freiburg an ideal starting point for numerous memorable excursions.

A further point in its favour is the mild climate: Freiburg is the warmest and sunniest city in Germany.

As a university town, Freiburg has a very lively cultural scene. Lovers of theatre, ballet, modern dance, cinema, jazz, classical music, rock, pop, museums or galleries have a wide range of events, concerts, festivals and places to choose from.

The school is located right in the centre of town, in an idyllic spot with cafes and restaurants shaded by impressive chestnut trees, close to Albert-Ludwigs-University and only five minutes from the station. Nearby are numerous possibilities for shopping, and all the worthwhile sights in town are accessible by foot.
